Lukretia had the oddest passtime of anyone I'd met in Singapore.
By herself, she would hang out in the bars of Clark Quay or Robertson Walk, looking demure and lonely, and in one of her form fitting silk baju kebaya, very very hot. Sure enough a guy would always slip into the seat beside her, start a conversation, buy her a drink, and then begin exploring how he could get her off her bar stool and into bed.
At some point in every conversation, she would ask if the guy was married. If he said no, she would dismiss him immediately and excuse herself at the first opportunity. If he said yes, she would smile, show intense interest in his eyes, in his words, in everything about him. She'd also take the silk scarf off her lap to reveal a remarkably sculpted thigh through the side slit of her elegant sarong.
She would not suggest they do anything that evening, but she would get his handphone number, and promise to call --- which she always did, the very next evening.
On the phone Lukretia would flirt without shame, always finding the opportunity to describe how little she was wearing, and how much she wanted to be in the man's company. On another occasion she would ask about his job, about his residence, and then, curiously, about his wife. Eventually, she would ask to meet in the oyster bar at the Pan Pacific Hotel, or if the fellow was the sporting type, in the famous orchid section of the botanic garden, at his convenience.

One thing would always lead to another, and before the guy could control himself, he had met her several times in various places, and would be agreeing to do so yet again, this time early one morning at Harbourfront, to board a ferry for the one-hour trip over to Batam, the nearby Indonesian isle of flagrant vice and deception.
And that's where Lukretia would finally push in the daggers, and pull her prey's pelvis out of his fleshy loins.
For it was to Batam that she would also invite each would be lover's wife, who would be waiting at an appointed spot just as he and Lukretia had exited the ferry and walked through immigration. There she would walk away from the fiery wife and the satayed man, with a quick turn and impish smile, leaving the two of them to their willies.
Now how did I get to know this?
